Tuesday night Kevin came home and surprised me with tickets to the Suns game. He snagged the tickets form the Pepsi guy at work. So we frantically tried to find babysitting on a school night and to make it just a little more challenging it is also YM/YW on Wednesday night. Thankfully Uncle Kyle came through for us. The kids were excited to spend time with him and we got our sitter.
We felt young again, going out on a date in the middle of the week, checking out the Suns in a box suite. But then we felt very old because when 10pm hit we were tired and wanted nothing more then to be in jammies and be in bed. So we enjoyed the game saw the cool fire when the players come out saw the Gorilla and a little after 1/2 time we headed home.
Friday morning was a special family day. We went to the Gilbert temple open house. The temple is beautiful and it was so wonderful to be there as a family and share with the kids why I love the temple. I asked each of them what they liked about it. Lilly and Max said the chandelier and Luke talked about the baptismal font.
So happy to have this temple here and can't wait to get to work inside.
