The last 2 weeks I finished up my last cooking class. I was so busy teaching that I never got any fun picture of the things that we did. I'm so glad that I did the classes this summer. It was so rewarding for me and I hope for the kids as well.
This past weekend we celebrated Pioneer day with a stake Pioneer breakfast. Lucky me the stake primary presidency was all out of town so the primary portion of the day was left to me. I was really stressed out about the whole thing. But after all the activities were set up and the kids sang their primary song everything fell into place. I have to admit I had a good time and I learned that we have some big party people in our stake.
Any post is boring without pictures. So here is a photo of Lilly teaching her friends the hula at a Luau party. Thanks Mandy we had a great time and don't forget to post the marinade recipe. Dinner was delicious.
And one more picture. Lilly has a love for rotten bananas. Why you ask b/c it means banana bread. Here is my little baker.

Later that night Mom and Papa cooked a great BBQ and then we went to watch fireworks. We went up to the Valencia Mall where they had a great show. With lots of colors and music. I love the music it enhances fireworks by 10, don't you think? The only bummer was it took 1 1/2 hours to get out of the parking lot. Happy Birthday America.
