As I'm preparing preschool lessons for tomorrow, I'm going over the names of the kids in my class. I see I have George Lucas in my class. SWEET!!!

My First Day of School

Now it is my turn. Today was my first day of school. I love my job!!! The children that are in my class are wonderful and full of life. Every year I get the first day jitters. Did I plan well enough? Will I have crying kids? Are all my materials in the right place? And every year the children come in, I relax and its easy to laugh, be silly and excited about school. I love the talking puppets, painting and dancing. Yes, I have the perfect job.

The rest of the day was full of mom stuff. I love the baby in the midst of the sea of clean piles of clothes.

The baby is 2 months old today. He is now starting to smile. The picture below dose not adequately melt your heart like it does in person. Tomarrow is his 2 months check up. I'm a little excited to see how much our wingman has grown.

Many people come up to me and say he looks like one of my other children. I guess that is what you do when you have a few kids. I'm guilty of it too. For the record Luke is on the left and Lilly is on the right.

I'm pretty sold that he looks like Lilly.

Friday busy Friday

Last night was a little rough. Luke didn't do his best sleeping and one of the other kids were up last night as well. When I woke Max up this morning his first words to me were "I don't want to go to school" AHHH not today, I have my first preschool meeting at 9 am. The morning ran smoothly from there until we dropped Lilly off at school. Her teacher looks down at her and says "where are your glasses?" AAHHH not today. I look at my watch I think I will have enough time to drop them off. So I drive back home, run up stairs, grab the glasses and drive back over to the school. I made it back home with enough time to feed Luke and send Max off to school. I had a wonderful parent meeting at 9 am. Now I know that I can be ready to teach even with a challenging morning. After spending some time with the kids that will be in my class this year I see that I have a class full of smarties. I'm so looking forward to being their teacher. To celebrate this occasion I treated myself to the Sonic Campfire blast. I have been wanting to try it for weeks now. HoORAY it didn't disappoint.

My friend Shari took some pictures of my kiddos the other day. Here are some of my favorites.

Don' t you just love his little yawn. And now we have the 3 of them at their finest. I love them. People say that babies grow fast. I know, they do grow fast but Luke's growth spurt has to been one of the fastest. Wow what a difference 2 months make.

Me Time

So even that I know I will have to wake up a feed a baby in the middle of the night I still like to have some ME time and do my thing. Yep these were done after 10 pm after I planed for preschool.

Our Wing man

Kevin's co workers gave Luke this shirt to welcome him into the world.

It says Daddy's Little Wing man. I'm sure for his whole life he will get gifts that refer to Top Gun. That's what you get when you have a cool middle name like Maverick.

Preschool for Max

Today was Max's big day, he got to go to preschool. Both of us were very excited. He left happy and came home happy. If you ask me that is a sure sign of a great day.
Did you take note of his shin gurads he wore all day?

The First Day of School

Today was the first day of school. No tears. Lilly was so excited. She had so much to look forward to, like her friends, new glasses, a new outfit, and her teacher. We met her teacher last night, and took a look around the classroom. Everything looked in order. I think it will be a great year.
Here is a photo of our little fashionista. At least she thinks so now that she has her purple glasses. I love this picture. I asked Max if he wanted to take pictures. His answer, no way. Then at the very last moment he wanted to take a picture with his sis. I'm a proud mom.

Lilly had a wonderful day. She told me all about the activities that they did and the stories they read. She had a surprise today as well, she lost her tooth that I have been begging her to pull out. In Lilly's words today was awesome.

Oh Summer how I will miss you so....

We have had an wonderful summer. We will miss afternoons with the cousins. They have been best of friends, all of them have played so well and just love each other. I'm so thankful that we live so close. We will also miss a summer Fro YO treat. Oh how we will miss play dates with friends. Will will miss late nights and sleeping in. We will miss swimming when ever we can. We will miss all the grandmas and grandpas that came to visit. I can't forget that we welcomed this little guy into our family adding so much joy to our summer. I know that we can still do most of these activities during the school year, but there is just something wonderful about not having a schedule and deciding everyday what we would like to do. So goodbye summer we will remember you as the best summer ever, until next summer.
Tomorrow is the first day of school for Lilly and she is ready. Ready with new glasses. She loves them!!She was so funny all afternoon she kept lifting them up to compare what things looked like with and without glasses. I think she looks wonderful!!!

One month, a big slide and a blessing

Our little wing man is 1 month old this week. He is a whopping 8 lbs 6 ounces and growing just as he should.
We happen to have this is our back yard Saturday.
It was our Amber's birthday and she is so awesome, she wanted everyone to celebrate. So what is the best way to do that? Rent a huge water slide. The kids had a the best time. Max didn't stop for the 5 hours that it was set up. There were are few battle wounds, every one had a great time and slept really well. Happy Birthday Amber!! Thank you for the party!!! (note: I didn't post all photos to protect the identity of some of the participants but I do have them)And finally a big day for our Luke. He was blessed today by Kevin. We were so blessed to have almost all of his family here. Thank you for all that came. We love you, and we are so glad Luke will have you all in his life.
