Here is a little clip of this kid sitting up like a champ. Oh yeah he likes his raspberries too.

Another Week
We enjoyed a park days on Saturday and Monday this week. Kevin worked most the day on Saturday and all day Monday so the kids and I went to the swing park. I love this time of year in Arizona the weather is beautiful!!!
On Monday Kevin called on his way home and said "Hey do you want to go out tonight?" That sounded good to me. We went to the Olive Garden because we had a gift card and the kids love it there. Me, it's not my favorite, but I'm not going to complain about good kids, no cooking and no clean up. Kevin made fun of me because I brought my camera. I was glad I did, not because it is a great picture but there is a lack of Kevin photos and I think he looks hadsome in his work clothes too.
Luke is just wonderful and enjoying his cereal, veggies, and friuts. He is like my other kids and likes to eat.
My goodneess look at thoes eyes. I know I'm his mom but really, heart breaker, don't you think!!!

The Proof
He is really getting around especially when he can make it off the rug he slides on the pergo floor with ease. It was a nice reminder of how dirty my floors really are.
I'm thinking that I should invest in this.
Kevin has been working some really long hours so that means that I have been too. It's been awhile since we have had a family dinner or I had help with bath time. I'm learning that I can do it all it is just more fun with him around. Lilly says to me today "Mom you don't smile that much" Ouch. But its true I'm so focused on getting things done that I forget to enjoy the things I get to do. I get to live a pretty great life. Because I have a wonderful job I get to be home with my kids.
Max and I playing "go fish" this afternoon.
Because I have a kitchen and food I get to cook dinners. Because I live in great neighborhood I get to pick kids up from school. Because I have been blessed with Luke I get to hold a baby in my arms, and because I was able to get a great education I get to read with my kids.
Lilly in her sleeping mask. It craks me up.
The goal for tomorrow is to smile more, especially for my little ones they need to know that I love them more than they will ever know.

Sunday Best
Since my little 25 days of December project I have been really uninspired to take any pictures. Today I got some inspiration. Luke in his Sunday best. Oh how I love this happy child.
He is somewhat mobil right now, he will scoot bakwards. I am always a little surprized when I walk back into a room and see how far he has gotten.

Just as a Note
Honestly I'm not feeling this new year thing. Yes, the number of the year has changed but my life has not. I feel this way b/c I am trying my best just to get by, as super mom, Rockstar Preschool teacher, awesome understanding wife and best friend. I came upon this today in my blog travels from Deep Breath of Life by Alan Cohen
"Greet the new year with a sense of joyful anticipation. No matter what has happened this year, you have the power to create your next year as you choose. You are not the same person who started this year. You are wiser, deeper, and richer for your experiences. You will take your knowledge and build on it to make a new year unlike any you have lived before."
It got me thinking I can make this year better so I will.
As a side note Lilly gave a talk today in Sr Primary and she read it all by herself. I'm so proud of her. As a side side note, Max came home with a talk assignment for next Sunday in Jr primary. I think we will recycle the talk.
