Behold, the New Kitchen

Isn't it Lovely!!!!! I am so grateful to Brother Kingsbury for painting my kitchen. He offered to paint while Ben was here for 2 weeks getting some medical treatments. I couldn't turn down his offer since May marked one year since I had started the paint project. I can't stop going in there and saying "OH I LOVE IT!" I have thanked him many times, but Mom and Modrells if you see him, don't be shy and let him know how grateful I am.

Max will not stay out of the water so what is a mother to do? How about but him to work. Both Max and Lilly did a pretty good job Lilly washed, Max rinsed and I dried. It was allot of fun working together.

Lastly here is a photo of Lilly at swim lessons. I was able to take her this week because Max was sick and I took a day off of work. She did well this session, all she needs is practice. Good thing we have family with a pool.

A proud mom moment

Lilly had her dance recital this weekend. I'm happy to report that she did great. All my fears of her crying on the stage or just standing in one place with stage fright were all washed away. She dance her little heart out. She even ended both her numbers with a bow.

A visit form Grandma and Kyle

We were glad to have these guys come visit. The kids loved it and they both think that Kyle is pretty cool.

I wanted to include a picture of the kids favorite game. Pull off all the cushions off the couch and jump on them.

Happy Birthday Max

My baby has turned 2. I think his birthday was a great success. Max was thrilled with his presents. How can you go wrong with tools and a lawn mower that blows bubbles.

I think the basket ball cake turned out pretty cool. At least Max thought so
