An update
It has been over a week since the last post so here is an update on us.
I was so proud of myself I got Lilly's hair to look pretty cute for a party she got to go to on Saturday. She had a blast, the best part was the pinata.
I had a cookie exchange party the other night, that went very well. Anytime moms can get together without the little ones is a cherished and loved event. Here is a photo of my 6 dozen peanut butter kiss cookies.
Oh look who it is, Matt!! Thanks for the visit. We really did like having you., and Max is still asking for you.
This is Max's latest trick. He loves to stick his finger in this nose. EEWWW!!! Just another sure sign that he is 100% BOY.
Only 3 more wake ups till we go to CA. Can't wait.

showing off
I have some layouts to show you. My little man keeps adding to his list every day, the little smatry. I think the word he loves the most is "cookie" as he points to the cookie jar.

What comes after rain?
MUD! I opened the back door and the kids ran outside to play! It wasn't until I come down from doing laundry that I found my 2 sweet dears living it up in a mud puddle!! It was too late to stop them so I did the reasonable thing and let them continue to play in it, and grab my camera. Oh the simple joys in life.
I love Max's little dance it the mud.

My Lilly Lou
For memory sake I have to write down this Lilly story. It seems that we are in the church building many times in the course of the week with cub scouts, activity days, presidency meetings and Sunday church. Lilly has really gotten comfortable there and will run around in the halls. We talked about why we don't run in the halls and that it's Heavenly Father's house and we walk, to show respect and reverence. She was fine with that and we walked into the chapel. Days past and we were driving in the car and I started to sing the primary song "I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ" I got through a verse and then I hear Lilly chime in "and we don't run at church." I sing a little more and again she adds the chorus "we don't run in church" I'm was glad to see that she remembered our lesson well enough that she could put it to song.
