It's getting warm

This is our after dinner after church dessert. That's right its warm enough here to have a Popsicle outside. I love this time of year in AZ. But Spring here only last 4weeks and then it just gets hot too hot.
Max did great in the nursery today. He actual played instead of sitting on his teachers lap. So now that Max finally gets used to his teacher and being in Nursery he will have to get new teachers. AHH is it just my ward or is it impossible to keep nursery teachers. Did I tell you that we will have almost 20 new nursery kids come in this next year. I guess that is what keeps our ward so fun.
It was my turn to do sharing time today. We played a match the first Presidency game. I hate to play favorites but Lilly was being pretty good. So I picked her to have a turn. And if I didn't pick her I wouldn't hear the end of it since she saw me make the game.

Happy Easter

Holidays are so much fun with kids, well a lest my kids. They were so fun on our Easter Egg hunt. Max knew what right to do, EAT the candy. He ran around saying CANDY CANDY. Lilly would get excited to find the eggs. They were so nice to each other and helped on another to find more. I guess I fell just more in love with being a mom today and I fell deeper in love with my children. Here is the grand event in scrapbook style. A disclaimer, the only reason there are more photos of Lilly is because she wanted to be a model today, and insisted that I take pictures of her dancing. Max didn't really care.

Our weekend

We had some fun this weekend. Since Kevin and I are slaves to our jobs we do get out much. We have wanted to go camping so we had the camping come to us. The kids loved it. There are some major pluses to camping in the backyard. It is much cleaner. there is a clean bathroom 10 feet away. And we didn't have to pack food.

I wanted to post this pretty much to brag about Kevin. Can you say AWESOME DAD. Ever since I have started work dinner has been on the table. And here is the list that he got done yesterday

washed and folded clothes

went to the market

vacuumed and moped floors

took the kids to the park

made dinner.

I guess you can say things are working out. I'm still in training, but I'm liking the work so far and I think as soon as I get a handle on all the things I need to know, the job should be pretty cool.

I got one picture of Max today at 6 a.m. He is a wonderful way to start my day.

The lame things I get excited about

I opened up my email this moring and I was thrilled to find the Shabby Princess has a new free kit out. I think its super cute and the Alpha is great!! Happy scraping.

First day of work

We all made it through the first day with flying colors!! The kids were great!!!! When I came home on Monday, Kevin had made dinner,Lilly had picked me flowers and all of them had made me a welcome home Mommy sign. The fam seems to be adjusting well. Now for me, the day is long and boring, its all just training so nothing too exciting. It takes 45 mins to get to work and come home, so that is a big bummer. I think I will really like this job. I will have 2 more weeks of training thanks goodness because there is alot I know. I don't have one new photo of the kids, I will have to make Kevin the new family photographer.

A Perfect Princess Day

SO yesterday was on the top 100 list of the best days ever. Becca's party was super fun. I was so happy to be part of it, so thanks Becca and Amber for inviting me.

To end the day, Becca got to spend the night. Lilly, Becca and I went to see "Enchanted" a perfect movie to end such a most wonderful Princess day. I must say I was delighted to be with them and it was a magical day.
