Merry Christmas to All

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas I know that we did. Here are some of the photos from our Christmas Eve party. We had a full cast for the Nativity with all the kids that came. It was beautiful. There was a mandatory talent show, and all families came through. Max and Lilly singing. The Pablo and Amber Family dancing to Rudolf it was an outstanding performance. There was some joke telling. My mom mad hats for all.
Christmas morning was just as fun. Santa came and the kids were thrilled that got just what they asked for. Me I was the most surprised and I was so good this year that I got my dream camera. I still can't believe it. Kevin says it was a Christmas miracle don't ask questions. But he assured me that he didn't rob a bank, bet on sporting events or donate plasma.

Christmas day was spent playing Rockband and eating. We had a very happy Christmas.

I Believe In Santa

I never really stopped believing in Christmas miracles or the goodness of men that is abundance this time of year. I just know that Santa is real, his goodness exists. As Kevin and I talked about Christmas this year and made our Christmas lists I wished for my camera just as a wish knowing that it would have to wait for another time. Kevin wished for a new cargo van that will be perfect for his tortillas. He too would have wait a little down the road.
I guess I was very, very, very, good this year, a dear friend of mine (we will call her Santa) got a camera upgrade this year and wanted to find a home for her old one. She was wise and generous enough to know how much I would love, care, and enjoy her old camera. I am now a proud and grateful owner of a DSLR.
I will now take you on a photo journey of the first days that my camera and I were together.

(I need to get them dress shoes)There have been so many times in my life that I have been blessed by the Lord and his goodness. His blessings have come numerous times from friends and family, from plates of goodies, to a smile, phone call or a complement. Blessings have come from friends watching my children, or working on crafts together. I have lots to be grateful for this season.

Christmas time

Oh it is funny how the Holidays can sneak up on you, even though I have preparing for them in my mind since July. Yes, I just figured it out. It doesn't do any good to just think about the projects I would like to have all finished for Christmas, I should have started in July.

We are keeping busy and are enjoy all the fun Christmas time stuff, like putting up the tree, seeing the temple lights, singing carols, enjoying holiday parties and eating way too many sweets. Sadly, I haven't been very photo happy lately for 2 reasons, my camera is blah and the kids run the other way when I try to take a picture. So to save me the heartache I have taken a little break from being the momarazzi.
Here is the only picture I have taken since Thanksgiving. It was a rainy day and the kids wanted to play in the rain. How could I say no, it's just water and then we could have hot chocolate to help warm up.

THANKSGIVING

I'm too far behind to give an update of all that went on November. I can't remember most of it so it must have been good. I did want to share our California Thanksgiving hosted by my in laws. It was yummy and wonderful, they were kind enough to invite my parents and brother over. I was lucky to have the best of both worlds.
Here is our cook of the day. Thanks Candy it was delicious.
My brother Matt and Kevin. I'm not sure what they are laughing at. Maybe it was Kevin's mustache.

Max and Lilly sporting Thanksgiving olive fingers.

Megan bringing over the rolls.A game of Thanksgiving poker.I can't go to California without getting to the beach. No matter how short the trip I have to go see my happy place.

We were lucky enough to find a sand dollar.

Max and Lilly remembered how much fun the beach is. Lucky for us the water was warm and the weather was perfect. This is Max is showing off his rocks. He ran into the water the whole time we were there. We got to my parents house wet and sandy. YES, a perfect BEACH day.
