Butterflies

Today we took advantage of a free day at the Phoenix botanical gardens. I have wanted to visit in the spring because they have their butterfly house. We got there at 5pm. Upon arriving we found out that the butterfly house closes at 5. The tears started (from Lilly) We walked over anyway and lucky us they were still letting people in. This is what I was hoping for.

The kids were still, quite and studying the butterflies. I am so amazed by this beautiful creature. At the exit of the butterfly house they have photo cut outs. Max wanted his picture in them so here we have both Max and Lilly from caterpillar to butterfly.

We then did a little walk around the gardens. It is a beautiful place, we only saw a little part of it since Max had a hurt foot and Luke was getting hungry. We did manage to see quail, rabbits and flowers. It was a good day.
