The good We are back, our home is just as we left it and our fish didn't die. The kids got off to school and Kevin was off to work with little complaint. Luke and I got the shopping done so there is food in our fridge. We squeezed in a minute at Shari's house to look over family pictures so she can edit a few of them. Sooo HAPPY with them.
More of the good the clothes are washed and put away. For family home evening tonight we had a little competition of who could fold and put away the clothes the fastest. Success, we were all done in 20 minutes.
The bad. I washed my new shirt and it totally shrunk. No saving it.
The good I only paid 4 bucks for it.
The good I finished the back of the quilt today.
The bad I had to rip out a whole seam because I sewed the wrong sides together. Then when I was all done I noticed that the top half is about 1/2 inch wider then the bottom. I'm just hoping we can work with it and get it quilted.
The good it is winter in AZ
I get so giddy when I see this, really it's almost like Christmas.

A Day at Magic Moutain
Back in August Kevin and I hit 10 years of marriage. WOOHOOO for us right. We didn't get to celebrate because I was living it up at Education Week at BYU. I know I'm a lucky girl he sent me to have fun without him. Well what we wanted to do to celebrate is to spend a day at Magic Mountain. Both of us have teenage memories of summers there and I think we wanted to find out if we can still hang with the young crowd. Plans were made for Thanksgiving and John and Shannyn were going to come along. We figured that the park would be less crowed that day. Oh and did a mention that this was an adults only affair. My mom and dad watched the kids. THANK YOU. Well when we got in town we found out that they were having a promo on Wednesday that if you bring in a bag of food for a donation you get into the park for free. Super Awesome! See our tickets
The park was pretty empty and we walked onto most of the rides. We hit The new rides first they were fantastic, super smooth.
Everything was going really well until I got hungry and thirsty and we wanted to ride just one more ride before lunch. Riddler's Revenge did me in. I'm too short for the ride meaning that the safety bars and stuff don't fit me right and my head always gets banged around on the headrest. Getting off that ride I didn't fell too well and I could tell that I was pale. We got lunch and I felt much better but still not 100%. It was a bit of a bummer. We enjoyed the rest of the park and hit all our favorites. We couldn't leave with out getting our funnel cake. Oh I love that 10 years later I can still have so much fun with this guy. I did marry him because he was funny you know.
We had a blast! But by far the best moment of the day is when Kevin put on this little show. Mind you we went on every roller coaster in the park with the enthusiasm of any 12 year old but Kevin is not a fan of the Buccaneer.

November 12th
2. Gilbert temple underway. We drove past it while doing errands. Just look past the dirty dirty dirty car window.
3. A stop and McDonald's. The kids were good shopping this morning so I treated them to lunch.
4. Lilly on the swing. The park is where we ate lunch, a perfect day to play outside.
5. Silly Max at the park
6. The boys
7. Lilly is into making doll clothes. Barbie fashion show.
8. The boys and friends digging up our front yard. They are having the best time.
9. Lilly wanted to work on her scrapbook today. We sat outside in the beautiful weather and put together pictures of summer.
10. Soup for dinner.
11. Dishes. How lucky am I that I have a guy that does dishes. Love my man.
12. The Thankful Tree. For Family Home Evening we made our thankful tree. We have so many things to be thankful for. The kids were so thoughtful. I love this tradition and it has been so fun to see how the kids have grown from year to year.

Ramblings
Luke likes to play Hungry Hungry Hippos.
When he becomes very tired and cranky I forgive him for being a little pill because sometimes he falls asleep on the chair and looks so cute and helpless.
Lilly was thrilled to have ice cream for dinner, because all of us were still full from our FREE Joe's Farm Grill burger to have a real dinner. Yep mom of the year.
Kevin has worked so much these last weeks. The good thing is that all his hard work to showing and people notice.
Me I found some peace this week
I have played coach for Max's soccer team 3 times now because Kevin has not been able to make it home in time. The first time was a joke. Kevin called me just 5 mins before practice and told me he wouldn't make it. So after that I educated myself a little if I had to do it again. I know Kevin so I was prepared.

I miss it when he doesn't nap. I should say that I am lucky that I get to play with him ALL afternoon but some days I would like just a little break. His favorite books now are Ten Read Apples and The Best Nest. I love them too so I don't mind reading them over and over.
Max he is 100% boy. This quote was over heard yesterday while playing with friends.
"pretend I pooped on all of them, then I lit them on fire and they all blew up...... now I'm all stinky"
Oh and when the 2 boys are together it is WWF all the time. I know you other moms of boys know what I'm taking about. He likes to cut things and write on things too.

writing numbers in pudding was a big hit.
The Election I'm so bummed out that the override didn't pass. From my understanding it looks like my kids won't have art or music at school any more. Such a shame.
