Scraping goals

I'm not much of a goal person probably because I never follow through but if I was asked what do I want to accomplish this year will all the pages I make it would be

• have fun,
• journal more on the pages
• include some every day stories and not just the usual big events

I must have done somthing good

2 posts in one day, I know that is not my style but I wanted to write this down. I named Lilly partly because of the children's book "Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse" I love that book and she does to. Well in the book Lilly wants to be a teacher so MY Lilly has picked up on that and said that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. I also told her that I was a teacher in a school but I didn't think she picked up on that. Today a breakfast she told me "Mom when I grow up I want to be a Laura." I almost cried, what a wonderful complement to receive. So I guess I have done something good. It makes up for the time she told me she wanted to be a Kevin.

Here is the page I did for her sunbeam debut. The design was inspierd by The treat of the Month Challenge at the Sweet Shoppe a Digtal Scrapbook place I've really began to like.

A climber

This is were I find Max several times a day. On top of any table, counter, bed or couch. Oh and he is so cheeky about I pull him off and put him in time out, then when I turn around he is climbing back up again, smiling and laughing about it. The little stinker, good thing he is so cute.

A Sunbeam

Big day today, Lilly was in PRIMARY!!! She did great!!! It was a little crazy in there today with 10 new Sunbeams and the time change to 2pm. We had 4 kids fall asleep in singing time. One kid sleeping out side of the door on a baby blanket, one on the foyer couch and 2 others in teachers arms. I always forget how hard the beginning is with the little ones coming into Primary and new teachers and classes but they all adjust and things work out. Our New Year's Party

Here are the photos and highlights of our OH SO FAB New Years Party. We ate, laughed, watched football, and kids played. We planed to bring in the New Year will Chili at 9 pm, but the natives became restless so we passed out the sparkling cider at 8:15 and counted down at 8:20. A little unconventional but we had a great time and every one got sleep.
