Sunday afternoon is back

It is Sunday afternoon and I find myself with some free time. We started this morning with church at 8 am. It's early, but we are all up by then most mornings anyway. The kids are so confused, they thought it was time for dinner when we got home from church at 11 am. The weather hasn't helped, it is so gloomy outside. We got back in our PJs for the afternoon and have been relaxing the day away.
The kids did manage to get a few jumps on the trampoline, never mind that is was raining, the rain made jumping that much better.
On Saturday nothing major happen just a quite weekend. We were so happy to watch movies in our new DVD player. Thank you again Dad and Candy, we love it. Lilly did have 2 parties to go to, one for primary and one princess party. She told me "mom this is such a special day". I had to agree. The kids were happy to play with all their Christmas goods.
Papa this one is for you, here is Max eating a mushy apple. Last night when I put Max to bed he said that he wanted to say good night to Nana and Papa. I told Max that they were back home. His reply was "oh that's so sad."
Tomorrow it's back to real life, with work school and all that fun stuff.

Happy New Year!!

A new year, yippee and back to work. Today was my first day back after a wonderful vacation that went buy way too fast. We had such a great time with all of our family that came into town. We were absolutely spoiled by them this Christmas. So a big thanks again to Mom Stacy, Dad and Candy and Nana and Papa.
We had a great park day and lots of playing outside.

Amber hosted a wonderful eating fest on New Years day. Thanks so much. The boys did what they wanted to do, watch football and the girls went shopping. I spent my gift card money, I love to shop with gift cards no guilt for spending money.
Here are some shots from New Years day.

Lilly and Max both love their presents from grandma Candy and Grandpa. I didn't take any pictures but my mom said that Max played with his soccer goal for hours and Lilly hasn't stoped playing with her Barbie house.

Tis the season

Friday Lilly's preschool had a cute little holiday program. She has been practicing "Jingle bell rock" for weeks at home. Unfortunately this is the best picture I got, due to the fact that I was holding a cranky Max.

The rest of the weekend we took on part 2 of Max's new big boy bed. He had one night so far and he did great. We didn't see him till Sunday morning at 7am, that is unheard of. We will see how night 2 goes. But her really loves his big boy bed!!

Kevin and I had a rare treat of going out on a date. We went out with the Bishopric for a little Christmas get together. Both Kevin and I fell so very blessed to live in this ward and to work with such awesome people.

Oh how I love Christmas!! We were able to meet John, Shannyn, Jack, Steph and family at the temple. What a wonderful display. I tried to take a few pictures, they didn't turn out very well but the lights were amazing!!! The kids had a blast!!!
May of my friends are are doing a December calendar where they track one Christmas thing a day. This year I just don't have time I have to do it all on the weekend. We still have fun and still have that holiday spirit. We finished the tree, by hanging the remaining ornaments and making a paper chain. This is the best photo with the kids by the tree. Oh brother.

Good news we found KITTY. This is Max's favorite stuffed animal. We were able to find it after Max threw Lilly's shoe over the back wall. On our way out the front door to go over to the neighbors house, I thought what other things have gone over that I didn't know about? Kitty was found in a bush outside the front door. Never a dull moment with our Max. As soon as Kitty was bathed, Max threw Kitty down the stairs yelling super kitty. I all makes sense.

The kids are loving the trampoline!!! They love to go outside and play together.

Sunday after diner we got into the car and went out to see the lights. This has always been one of my favorite activites to do in the Chirstmas season. The kids love it as much as I do.
